It wasn't until year 11 that I stumbled upon the enchanting world of developing and editing. Spending every lunch hour in the school darkroom became my sanctuary. In the sweltering heat of Queensland, the darkroom was the only air-conditioned room in school, but it was more than just a refuge from the heat—it was where I discovered the magic of transforming a simple negative into a stunning photograph. The alchemy of chemicals and the dance of light and shadows fascinated me, and I eagerly immersed myself in learning the art of developing and editing.
